All through the year, Lisa can be find behind a sewing machine working on a quilt most likely to be received by a shelter guest. The Shelter Quilt Project run by Lisa, Julia Demaree and some cherished volunteers, aims to provide every guest of our shelter with a personalized quilt before they leave for permanent housing. Favorite color, flower, toy, animal can be taken into consideration when a quilt is being created. The Shelter Quilt Project has created over 160 quilts for guests of our shelters. Lisa also creates quilts, potholders and other sewn items to be sold in the H.O.M.E. Made Gift Shop.
