Monthly Access
Located in H.O.M.E.’s Market Stand, the food pantry provides monthly food boxes to qualified individuals/families. Food box items are supplied through Good Shepherd Food Bank, community donations and saved produce and bread from local grocery stores. Boxes include staples such as canned veggies, beans, pasta, snacks (if available) and frozen meat. Hygiene supplies may be included upon request and if available. (i.e. feminine hygiene supplies, deodorant, toothpaste). On occasion there may be infant formula, diapers and baby wipes available. Qualified individuals and families may receive one food box per month to assist with stretching their grocery budget.
The Food Rescue Line
Every Monday and Tuesday and again on Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm and Friday from 9 am to 11 am, H.O.M.E.’s iconic white van travels to local grocery stores and brings back rescued produce, bread, pastries and more. The Rescue Line is located in the Market Stand.
